The Haunted House (La Casa Encantada) is a music show on KUSF.org radio in San Francisco. This is the third show, aired on Sept. 27 2013, the World Tourism Day (according to the UNWTO), so we toured the world with songs about traveling. Yodeling sambas, Bahia do Brasil, the beach of waikiki, Rum and Coca Cola in Trinidad, Miami Beach, a trip through Istanbul and lots of songs about trains! Songs by Stanley Brothers, Bill Monroe and His Bluegrass Boys, Blind Willie McTell, Freeman Stowers, King Solomon Hill, Dara Puspita, Xavier Cugat, Noro Morales, Ibitsam Lutfi, Lord Invader, Dalva de Olivera, Kalama's Quartette and el Gitano Portugués. The salutation to los santos was again by Celina and Reutilio with their chant to Aggayú Solá, protector of travelers, airplane pilots and car drivers, like his former Christian equivalent San Cristóbal. Aggayú Solá Kinigua oggé ibbá eloní!

  1. Dara Puspita -- what a revelation! I had no idea anything like that existed in Indonesia.
