Songs of Freedom - Show # 74 - April 15, 2016

The escaped Popoff comes back into the House today and demands new conditions and freedom from the Gorgeous Tyranny of your Ghost Host (voted Most Beloved Dictator in 2015!). For this reason we talk about freedom and escaping, the limits of freedom and all that free jazz. And of course we play sweet songs of freedom.

We ask the important questions:

- Is freedom free? If so, how so? How free?
- If freedom is free, where do we get two of those?
- If it's not, how much is it? Can you purchase it in installments?
- Do we really have any freedom of choice, or is it all a Fateful plan and Popoff is just fulfilling the master plan of your Ghost?
- Do hamsters think they are free to run that wheel? Do they really like cheese? And in that case, which one best? Are they really free to choose between a Gouda and an Red Leicester?

We'll discuss the freedom of the goblins, the limited incarceration of bats and gremlins and the abolition of waterboarding for our toads and octopuses.

Today we also celebrate the anniversary of the proclamation of the SPANISH REPUBLIC (April 14 1931), and that brief but beautiful moment when Spain was FREE for the first and, alas, last time.
